CatLadyHi, also known as Nora, got her name from her brother’s high school rap group called Killacamm & the D-Town Misfits, where they gave her the name CatLadyHi, which she’s kept as her Instagram handle since 2015. Since moving to New York in August 2022, she discovered her passion for electronic music. As years have gone by, she’s defined her sound to a spectrum of groovy minimal tech house to deep tech. She finds herself playing house music at raves and clubs in New York and Texas. Some of the places she’s played are Elsewhere, LPR (Le Poisson Rouge), Somewhere Nowhere, Superior Ingredients and Sunset Park Rooftop. She’s opened for big artists such as Jamie Jones, Beltran, Rossi, Matroda, Ship Wrek, Offaiah, and Detlef.
